Getting started with Team Diva - Floral Design

We love being flexible and starting conversations however you are comfortable! If you want a preliminary proposal before a discovery call click here. Once we get your details, you will see a basic proposal in your in box in 3-5 days, sometimes sooner if we aren’t working on events. Please be as thorough as possible and include a pinterest link or some photo inspiration! After you receive the proposal, we will have the chance to schedule a discovery call and make one set of changes to the proposal before you make your decision.

If you want to schedule your one complimentary discovery call before getting the proposal, click here! During this call, we’ll discuss floral elements that suit your chosen venue and color palette so any images you’ve collected, Pinterest or mood boards will be helpful to share.

Not to worry if you haven’t made decisions yet and have no idea what your color palette should be. We can have that discussion as well!

We will do a soft hold on your proposal for 7 days after sending. Once the 7 days passes, we do open the date up for other potential clients, but we will give you a heads up.

Once you decide to move forward, a signed contract and retainer will secure your date.   This retainer just holds your date, it does not lock the proposal into stone. 6 weeks prior to your date, we will have a details meeting making sure everything is accounted for and we understand all the logistics for the day. This can either be in person or on zoom. During this meeting, if we have flowers on site, we would be happy to look at specific examples. A mock-up can be requested for an additional fee.

FAQs

What is a full service wedding? Full service weddings are when we have a team of 1-3 people coming to the wedding, setting up centerpieces, arch decor, large installations, etc. These weddings are generally priced at about $5500 or more.

Can we pick up our flowers? Absolutely! If you want to save the delivery and installation fee, you are welcome to pick up your centerpieces, bouquets, etc. from our Redwood City studio. We will give you advice on how to keep your flowers fresh and prime for the big day, but do encourage you to pick them up the night before or morning of.

Do you have a minimum? We work with clients of all budgets, whether its City Hall elopements or grand affairs. For most of our clients, their floral budgets range from $3000-$10000+.

What can we expect when we work with you? Our clients are always blown away by the way we can take their vision and guide them to making it a reality. We are always conscious of your stated budget and will work with you to get as close as we can.

How many meetings do we get with you? Our first initial consult after the proposal is sent, is free of charge. We also offer one details meeting, generally closer to the event date once you have received your RSVPs. For our clients with large installations, we offer one additional design meeting. Any meetings or consultations outside of that will incur an additional cost for our time.

Do you have a certain style? One of the things I love about floral design are all the different styles out there. I wouldn’t say we are a “niche florist”. We are adaptable and can take your inspiration, throw in a Sassy Diva twist, and come up with your dream florals!
